Muscle Strains

Weight lifting places significant stress on muscles, making strains a common occurrence. Whether it's a strained back, hamstring, or shoulder, our physical therapy experts employ targeted exercises and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and restore optimal muscle function. Our team focuses on identifying imbalances and designing rehabilitation plans that not only address current issues but also prevent future muscle injuries.

Tendonitis

Tendonitis, inflammation of the tendons, can hinder your lifting performance. At Crossover, we implement tailored exercise regimens and modalities to reduce inflammation, strengthen the affected tendons, and prevent future flare-ups.

Rotator Cuff Injuries

The intricate overhead movements involved in weight lifting can lead to rotator cuff injuries. Our specialized approach involves targeted exercises to improve shoulder stability and resiliency, coupled with hands-on techniques to enhance joint mobility and reduce discomfort.

Ligament Sprains

Ligament sprains, often seen in joints such as the knees and ankles, can disrupt your training routine. Our physical therapists employ evidence-based methods to stabilize the affected joints, promote healing, and guide you through a progressive rehabilitation program.

Lower Back Pain

Persistent low back pain is common with strength training. We address the root cause of your discomfort and implement a plan that may include training modifications, manual soft tissue mobilization, strengthening exercises, postural awareness, mobility exercises, and education so you will have the knowledge to manage any future flare ups if they occur.
